We are happy to inform you that the Polish doom metal legend, GALLILEOUS, are releasing their newest full length album ”Ego Sum Censore Deuum” on our label!

The band was formed in 1991 in Włodzisław Śląski and has ever since been perceived as one of the most notable doom metal bands in Poland. Taking inspiration from the forerunners of the doom metal movement, GALLILEOUS departs from the strict generic approach, at the same tame maintaining the very foundation the genre has always been known for.

Getting rid of low and too fuzzed to fit the monumental compositions guitar tuning, GALLILEOUS pushes doom metal boundaries presenting an open minded and well – weighed epic doom metal release, the force of which lies in more harmonic and intelligent songwriting rather than in harshness of a traditional funeral doom metal album.

With loads of bands operating on the post – metal scene, BLINDEAD is a distinctive creation, a band the music of which excels all the NEUROSIS and ISIS followers. “Autoscopia” was not created in California, nor was it brought forth in New England, “Autoscopia” is a Central European endeavor with its own identity; hence it can easily compete with the famous Americans. When CULT OF LUNA released “Eternal Kingdom”, one could think that the 2008 post – metal throne has already been conquered, but the Swedes will have to share the laurel wreath with BLINDEAD, as “Autoscopia” is a post – metal album par excellence, one the overlooking of which no music fan can afford – truly a treat for every respectable listener.

From the ominous "Phaze I: Enlightenment", through the aural turmoil of the following tracks, to the monumental “Phaze IV”, BLINDEAD astonishes with the freshness of ideas and arrangements, the intensity, the heaviness of songs and finally the professionalism of all the musicians. “Autoscopia” is predestined to become one of the most important albums in the history of the post – metal genre.

We are proud to announce the worldwide release of a debut full-length album from Canadian one-man project THISQUIETARMY, entitled "Unconquered". Eric Quach, the man behind the project, is definitely not a new face on the scene, because he has already released a few limited CD-R EPs and collaborations and has a successful career as a guitar player in DESTROYALLDREAMERS. He has also collaborated and played live with Aidan Baker (NADJA), with whom he also shared one track on the forthcoming album.

USA-based one-man project METHADRONE is preparing for the release of the brand-new full-length album entitled "Sterility" on our label. The project is spearheaded by Craig Pillard (ex-Incantation), bass player of U.S. doom metal band EVOKEN. Guest vocals in a couple of tracks are performed by David Galas, who is both known for being part of LYCIA and also a successful solo musician.

We have just released a teaser of the album, namely a free internet single featuring one track from the album, "Horizone" and the other one exclusive to this single only, "Nalbuphine". German label Grau Records announces the release of new albums from MANDRAKE and VAN BRANDEN. The first of them prepared the much anticipated follow-up to "The Balance of Blue", entitled "Mary Celeste". As it was the case with the previous albums, the forthcoming one is mostly addressed to the fans of NIGHTWISH, LACUNA COIL and WITHIN TEMPTATION. At the same time as "The Balance of Blue" the label will release previously unreleased MANDRAKE's album entitled "Forever".

The second new offering from Grau Records is the debut full-length album from VAN BRANDEN - "Scherben", which will surely please those who are into CREMATORY, EISREGEN or SAMSAS TRAUM. All three albums will be available in our webshop on 3rd December 2007.

Dutch rock band THE GATHERING announces the release of the double live DVD entitled "A Noise Severe". It will feature one of the last performances with Anneke van Giersbergen as a singer of the band. The double DVD will be followed by the same performance issued on double CD album in January 2008. Foreshadow is one of the official distributors of both releases and we will stock them as soon as they are available. Also, speaking of Anneke van Giersbergen, we already have the debut album from her new band AGUA DE ANNIQUE entitled "Air" in our on-line shop, and only now available at a special reduced price!

We are extremely proud to announce the signing of a new artist to our label - excellent American project METHADRONE! The artist behind the project, Craig Pillard, is definitely not a new-comer to the music scene as he is known from his work in INCANTATION in the 90-ties and as a current bass player for EVOKEN. Under the METHADRONE moniker he explores doom / drone areas of the musical spectrum. His newest album entitled "Sterility" will be released in Spring of 2008, but already in November we are releasing a free internet single promoting the album. We cannot be more happy to announce that our 4-year long project "Entering the Levitation: a tribute to Skepticism" will be officially released on the 5th November. Duncan Patterson, a musician known from ANATHEMA, ANTIMATTER and ION, signed a deal with Foreshadow for the release of a debut 7"EP of his newest project ECHONIA. Under this moniker he explores music similar to Pentecost III-era ANATHEMA, CELTIC FROST and SAMAEL. The recordings will commence in August and September in Greece and the mini-album will see the light of day in October. Stay tuned!

Italian avantgarde music assembly THEE MALDOROR KOLLECTIVE, known also as TEXTBOOK of MODERN KARATE or simply T/M/K will release a special mini-album entitled "Themes from Proxima" on Foreshadow. The album features four tracks the band recorded for a soundtrack of a new Scandinavian movie "Proxima". Additionally, the release contains two remixes done by dj Little Birds. To be released in July.

Polish funeral doom / death metal group OKTOR has just released its first full-length CD entitled "All Gone in Moments". Released on the band's own label and exclusively distributed through Foreshadow, this album contains all tracks the band has released so far and which appeared on various Eps, splits and compilations via Foreshadow Limited in the years 2003 - 2005. Additionally, the release features a brand-new 25-minute suite "With Tears as Lullaby" which is exclusive to this release only. All tracks have been digitally remastered. PROFUNDI is the name of the new solo project by Jens Rydén, the ex-vocalist of NAGLFAR. He has just released his overwhelming debut full-length album on a young German metal label Viva Hate Records, with which we have just entered into an official distribution deal. "The Omega Rising", because that is the title of the album, consists of nine devastating black/death metal tracks and is released in a beautiful digipack format.
